Tea Leaf Reading

The art of tea leaf reading (tasseography) is a centuries old tradition of divination which was once commonly practiced among Irish & Highland Scots women, when everyone had a Granny or Aunt who read the tea around the table. In Victorian England 'cups' was a popular tea-time parlor game where Ladies exchanged teacups to reveal the mystical messages inside. 

Over time, tea leaf reading faded into a "granny" practice and has now become somewhat of a forgotten intuitive art. 

Dawn wishes to revive this warm and incredibly accurate form of divination, to honor of remembrance of these women.

The preparation of the perfect cup of tea is an alchemical process; an infusion of the 5 elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Spirit with the 5 senses upon the first sip. Each cup of tea possesses subtle properties that respond to the personal energetic imprint of the cup holder. A tasseographer then intuitively reads the symbolic messages formed in the loose tea. 

During a private tea reading you'll be offered a cup of warm tea as you relax and enjoy the unique experience of having your tea leaves read. Dawn intuitively and empathically reads your personal energetic imprint on the cup and the symbolic images it forms in the loose tea. 

A tea reading session usually takes about 30 minutes. Due to time limits and hygienic concerns during larger events readings are modified to 15 min. - no drink sessions.
